More than just overcoming obstacles...

Like any new skill, learning to swim takes a lot of time and effort.

However, just because something is difficult, that does not mean you should just give up, and we’re here to help!

First time swimmers

Whether you’re learning to swim for the very first time, or wanting to get back into the pool after an injury or illness, our adult group and private sessions are ideal. Our aim is to help you feel more comfortable and at ease in the water at first, before going through the basics of flotation and movement

These steps are vital in order to overcome any anxiety that may have built up over the years. With our experienced staff there to help and guide you, you will soon develop a feel for the water, and the confidence to swim around in it. Who knows- you might be doing a backflip one day!

The great thing about swimming is that it’s a low impact sport, and ideal for regaining fitness after an injury. It is also a great way to reduce stress and increase mobility through physical activity.

We can help!

Improve a stroke

Strength and stamina are an important part of swim fitness, but they are nothing without good technique. If you’re like us and love a triathlon, or are training for any other big event, then we can provide a tailored swimming program to get your fitness and stroke up to standard.

Whether you swim for recreation or for exercise, we believe in teaching you the basics of swimming. This allows you to better understand what makes a good swimmer, and how to get the most out of your sessions.

Regular swimming not only builds endurance and muscle strength, but is also an excellent way to increase your cardio-vascular fitness. Swimabout can assist with correcting any issues you may have with your stroke, and also help improve your movement through the water.

An efficient swimming stroke really does enable you to get more enjoyment out of swimming!
