Quality over quantity

Swimabout is ideal for any parent looking for more out of their kids’ swimming lessons than you might currently receive.

In terms of lesson structure, we strive to provide quality over quantity with our swimming lessons. Class sizes are kept small, so that each pupil gets the attention they deserve. Furthermore, our friendly and experienced teachers and poolside staff mean that we are able to tailor each lesson to the needs of the individual child.

We might be a small swim school in terms of size, but we’re big in heart. We firmly believe that we provide a level of expertise that just can’t be matched! We keep a tight rein on our teaching output and the standard of our service; no empty promises, no sound bites – we just deliver excellence in swimming!

Exceptional teaching

We enhance our students swimming ability by instilling confidence and motivation. To do this, we use exceptional teaching, with a great deal of importance placed upon technique, while keeping things fun for the child.

We believe that by engaging the children through our unique teaching style, your child will have a better understanding of what it is they are doing in the water. They will therefore be better motivated, better prepared and in better shape than ever before!

All children learn differently

We understand that not all children learn in the same way, or at the same pace. With this in mind, Swimabout provides a more complete and rewarding experience for every swimmer. We carefully shape our groups based on many different factors, to provide the most unique, individual swimming experience possible. This is a vital part of our success, as individuality is at the forefront of all our pupils’ successful aquatic development.

What's more, our skilled teachers will not only identify with your child’s needs, but also their personality in the water. This goes a long way in determining what type of learning is best suited to their learning pathway, and so we make it our mission to get to know every child well.

All our lessons are based upon a framework called the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS). This is produced by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), National Governing Body for Swimming. It is a national syllabus for delivering aquatics and provides stages and awards for your child to progress towards becoming competent, confident, and safe in water.

Train hard, Play safe and get the most out of the water!
